HOW TO MAKE MUSHROOM,ROSEMARY&THYME CHALLAH STUFFING
Material:
• 1/2 loaf challah, cut or torn into pieces 1 inch, toasted
• 2 tablespoons of butter.
• 1 cup diced onion
• 1 cup diced celery
• 1 cup diced carrots
• 1 cup diced mushrooms krimini
• 5 sprigs thyme, leaves only
• 3 sprigs Rosemary, leaves only
• 1 1/2 cups favorite stocks
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Step:
1) Preheat oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2)In
a large sauce pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onion,
celery, carrots, mushrooms and cook until soft and Golden, stirring
often, about 10 minutes.
3)
toast cubes in a large bowl. Add vegetables and herbs, and stock, egg,
salt and pepper. Place in oven-proof baking dish and cover with foil.
Bake for 30-40 minutes, remove foil and Bake 10 minutes more crisp up
the top. Enjoy!
