Onion Tart
Material:
• Olive oil
• 1 onion, sliced
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 2 cups sliced shiitake
• Salt and pepper
• (1) frozen puff pastry sheet, thawed
• 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
• Flat leaf parsley for garnish
Step:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a saucepan, heat the temperature low medium heavy oil. Add the
sliced onions and cook until soft and Caramelized, stirring every so
often, about 20 minutes. Add the butter and mushrooms and continue to
cook until mushrooms are cooked and deep brown. Taste and season with
salt and pepper.
3. Slide the sheet puff pastry 6 even from each other. The top of the puff
pastry with mushroom-onion mixture and sprinkle on the cheese. Bake
until cheese is bubbly and pastry puffed and Golden, about 20 minutes.
