HOW TO MAKE SHISHITO SOBA

SHISHITO SOBA


MATERIAL:
• 1-2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 teaspoons sesame oil.
• 1 teaspoon dashi powder
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
Freshly ground pepper
Oil pan
• 6 ounces shishito peppers (about 2 cups)
• Salt and freshly ground pepper
• 4 ounces soba noodles
• Shichimi togarashi  to end
• Seaweed strips to finish
• Sliced green onions, to finish
 
STEP:
1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic powder, Dashi and lots of pepper. Set aside.
2. Heat oil splash pan or heavy iron skillet lowest high temperature. When shiny, add pepper and Cook, turning occasionally, until blistered. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.
3. Cook the soba noodles according to the package and drain and rinse well in cold water, rubbing and noodles around with your hands. Drain well and toss with dressing. Taste and adjust if necessary. Serve topped with shichimi togarashi, green onions and sliced Nori shishitos stackable blistered side. Enjoy!
